MiCOURT DCS Post 2025/5 Software Updates - November 25, 2025

Posted by JIS Service Desk on November 25, 2025 at 9:36 AM

JIS applied software corrections overnight regarding the following items.  This was done to address issues which arose out of the recent MiCOURT DCS 2025/5 release on 11/17/2025.

    • MC09A Dismissal, Non Service/No Progress - The title of the form has been corrected.
    • CIA02 Judgment, Civil Infraction - Overlapping text in the IT IS ORDERED Note line corrected.

    • T/C Forms - X-Ref Number Truncated - When printing the following forms the X-Ref number below the Case No was not printing the last two characters of the value if entire ten characters were used.  This has been corrected.

      • DCG = MC245o (3/21) Order For Discharge From Probation

      • MDP = MC245m (3/21) Motion For Discharge From Probation

      • NLP = MC263 (6/19) Motion/Order Of Nolle Prosequi

      • PBM = DC223 (12/21) Misdemeanor Plea By Mail

      • PBW = MC229 (9/22) Motion, Affidavit, And Bench Warrant

      • PTR = MC240 (9/22) Pretrial Release Order
    • Traffic/Criminal Date Generated Notices - Abstract Issue

      • The most common scenario observed since the 2025-5 Release was when a Trial field was populated with N due to a dismissal abstract request.  Then, each subsequent abstract generated would generate with an N.  This resulted in abstract errors from the Department of State.
      • Code was corrected when creating the abstract records so data is not passed incorrectly from one abstract to the next abstract.
