Return for Clerk Review – All JIS-Hosted MiFILE Courts Based on court feedback, we have added a new Return for Clerk Review Queue in the Filing Processing Life Cycle. When a document from the Clerk Review queue was routed to a judge and then returned, it would get lost in the Inbox with all other submissions. Courts expressed a desire to have these bundles moved out to a different location so they could more readily see and act upon them. With this new queue, any time a document is routed to another Filing Processing Queue, when it is returned to the Clerk, it - and the entire bundle - will now move to the new Return for Clerk Review queue. So, this queue will only ever have bundles in it that have been previously reviewed and acted upon by the clerk.
Standardize Create Hearing Jacket Terminology Throughout OnBase – All MiFILE DMS Courts What's the difference between a Hearing Jacket and Hearing eForm?? Nothing! Both terms were being used to reference the same thing in OnBase. We're adjusting our language to consistently use the term Hearing Jacket.
Add Auto-Mappings for Probate Courts (Phase 1) - All JIS-Hosted Probate MiFILE Courts When a specific TrueFiling filing type is selected by the filer, we can automatically index that to a specific document catalog item so the clerk doesn't need to do the indexing manually. The following list shows you items that will be automatically indexed. Please note that the clerk should still be reviewing the document and ensuring that the correct indexing has occurred. If the filer chose the wrong TrueFiling filing type, a different document catalog entry may need to be selected.

Doc Catalog Update - Make Reports of Physician/Mental Health Professional Confidential by Default – All JIS-Hosted Probate Courts To remove manual work, and to avoid making confidential documents public, the document catalog options of "Report of Physician" and "Report of Mental Health Professional" will be set to confidential by default.
