E-Notice Ability after Using Record and Remove Task (District Landlord-Tenant Court Mailings) - MiFILE DMS Courts Only
We are adding the option to e-notice individuals once the "Record and Remove" task is used in the Print Queue. This queue and task are used to process Landlord-Tenant Requests for Court Mailing. Previously, if a court wanted to send out the clerk-signed court mailing form, users would have to locate the form in the file cabinet after processing to do so. Now, you will be able to e-notice as part of the normal workflow. This update is specifically available to district courts using the MiFILE DMS.
New "Incorrect Filing" Task in the Filing Cabinet - MiFILE DMS Courts Only
OnBase Administrators and supervisors now have access to the "Incorrect Filing" Task in the File Cabinet. This task is meant to be used if a document was submitted to the wrong case and erroneously accepted by the court.
Using this task will move the document out of the legal case file into a new dynamic folder for incorrect filings. This folder is suppressed so that only OnBase administrators and supervisors will see these documents once flagged as an incorrect filing.
When using this task, the system will remind you of a few things (a screenshot of the popup is also below):

This task is not integrated with your case management system, so you may have some manual corrections to make to your register of actions.

This action will not trigger any communication to parties.

If this document had associated fee, the filer will need to pay those fees again if/when they choose to refile into the correct case.
