MiFILE Release 2.1.13

Written by Brandon Cleveland | Feb 3, 2023 1:57:05 PM
Release to UAT Date: 2/7/2023 Release to PROD Date: 2/16/2023

Eliminate Redundant Fee Waiver in ROA Entries - All JIS Hosted Courts
We have corrected an issue that occurred when a fee waiver is submitted, a fee waiver event is written to the ROA for every document submitted in the bundle. After this update, the fee waiver entry will be made once per bundle or once per document that has an associated fee.

EFS Fee Waiver for Governmental Entity - All JIS Hosted Courts
When a governmental entity requests an EFS fee waiver and it is approved by the court clerk, only the filing fee will be passed to the CMS from OnBase.

Add Attorney to Nonpublic Case after Case Initiation - Statewide Solution & Hosted Pilots
Currently, the Add Counsel to Case feature requires the attorney to select the name of the party to populate the request. This update allows attorneys to add themselves to nonpublic cases after case initiation.

Rename DMS Initial Route Queue to Case Processing Destination - Statewide Solution with MiFILE DMS
The Document Import screen previously contained a "DMS Initial Route Queue" dropdown, which was used to specify the Case Processing Queue destination. We have updated the field to read "Case Processing Destination."

Updated Service Bus Listener - Statewide Solution & Hosted Pilots
This update allows ImageSoft to enter configuration display names to a court's individual configuration, which will help long-term management of the courts in Bundle Publish.
Note:  This is a backend update and courts will not notice any changes to their User Interface or OnBase functionality.

Prevent Public Access Users from Changing Public Terminal Password - Statewide Solution with MiFILE DMS
Currently the DMS PUBLIC ACCESS user group is configured to use the Court Security - SCAO requirements for secure password rule. This would require the court to update the password every three months. We have disabled this function.

We have also disabled the ability for any public user to change the DMS Public Access terminal password. This feature can be set at the user level.

Decrease Time For Incremental Case Feed from CMS to MiFILE
This updates reduces the JIS incremental case feed is from 30 minutes to 20 minutes. The purpose of this is to speed up any delays for importing documents into OnBase and getting case data through the system more timely.

Disable Display All Items in Several Life Cycles - Statewide Solution, Hosted and Non-Hosted Pilots
Unless it has been determined to be necessary for the court's business process, we have disabled the 'Display All Items when Life Cycle is Selected" Life Cycles:
Note:  This is a backend update and courts will not notice any changes to their User Interface or OnBase functionality.
